Wednesday Links

Here are a few links to some things you might have missed, or at least ones that caught my attention this past week:

1. Beware the Busyness of Summer Break

I feel this with our family. It’s ironic, but summer can easily slip away in the midst of all the activity.

2. Good Parents Connect, Not Just Correct

We spend a lot of time correcting as parents. I’m thankful for this article, which is a reminder about the greater power of connection.

3. Muhammad Ali Knew Magic

This is a cool video of Ali, in the throws of his Parkinson’s, still able to make a handkerchief disappear.

4. Dear Hollywood: Do You Want Me Dead?

An 11-year-old wheelchair athlete writes an open letter in response to the movie, Me Before You.

5. The unBeatitudes

Man, what a post. It will make you look differently at this well known passage of Scripture.
