There are a few things that Joshua hates. One is sitting in his room with the door shut.

Another is squash, or any other gourd-like vegetable.

We had a horrible time this week convincing Joshua that the bread he was scarfing down this sweet bread that it made out of zuccini. It was an absolute impossibility to him.

“No way.”

“It can’t be.”

“Impossible.”

These were all the things he kept muttering as he was shoving it into his face. Finally, Jana pointed out the green specks in the bread. According to Joshua, these anomalies are simply the result of being cooked in an oven. Oven specks. Certainly not a vegetable.
