One week from today, there are going to be approximately 11,000 other people running in the St. Jude Marathon and half marathon in Memphis, Tennessee. Here’s a startling representation about the reason why we are running to support St. Jude’s:
You can see from above that the survival rate for my son Joshua’s type of cancer, ALL, has increased from 5% to 94%. And though we do our treatment at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital the protocol and research was done in partnership with St. Jude’s.
This hospital has dramatically impacted our lives. Those commercials before the movies don’t seem quite so annoying any more. Neither do the telethons. So I’m running the marathon and Jana will be running the half. Maybe we’ll see you there.

Wow, that’s incredible! We want to do everything we can to support St. Jude!
Best of luck in the marathons! We will be praying for you both. It would be great to get to see you during the holidays. Are you coming to your parents? I am sure the boys would love playing together! Take care, Dominic and Janna
