I decided I’m not going to post much stuff on here over the weekends – maybe one time per Saturday and Sunday. And I think I’m going to reserve those weekend posts for my kids. So for the first installment, here’s a Joshua story. Let me set the scene. Joshua is laying in bed getting his nightly Bible story read to him by his cool babysitter, Sarah. Sarah decides to take the conversation deeper:
Sarah: Joshua, who’s your favorite person in the Bible?
Joshua: King Ahab.
Sarah: Really? That’s kind of funny. Why do you like him?
Joshua: Because he’s kind of mean.
Sarah: That’s true; he was very mean.
Joshua: Yeah, sometime I want to climb in my Bible and fight him with my sword.
Ahab, watch your back. Joshua’s plastic sword stings when it hits you. Trust me, I know.

Remember that one time when we were at the zoo and Taylor told you that he would fight that snake… if he had the right equipment.
Great disclaimer. Equipment is key.
We still laugh about that when we go the ABQ zoo.
