Wednesday Links

Here are a few links to some things you might have missed, or at least ones that caught my attention this past week:

1. Be a Parent Worthy of Honor

Children are commanded to honor their parents, but what does it look like to be worthy of that honor as a parent? We must learn to be godly, imitate worthy models, and commend our children to the grace of God.

2. Why Congregational Singing Matters Today More Than Ever

I heartily agree – As Keith Getty points out, congregational singing affects us as individuals, affects our community, and helps our witness.

3. Theology Can Blind You to God

Our systems can become lackeys of our sin. This article gives us 6 red flags to see if our theology is actually blinding us to the God behind it.

4. Introducing the Christian Standard Bible

I’m very excited about this, and will be using this translation in the future.

5. The Pixar Movies Are All Connected

Did you know that? I did not. But this video shows you how.
