Wednesday Links

Here are a few links to some things you might have missed, or at least ones that caught my attention this past week:

1. Your New Fitbit Won’t Change Your Life

I’m still in the New Year time frame, and Trevin Wax offers a good here about not confusing the tools to measure activity with the heart.

2. The Best Kind of Self Care is Care for Others

I have found this to be true over and over again. There is a holy joy only found in laying down your life for the sake of others.

3. Kill Sin with Fear and Trembling

We fear and tremble as we work out our salvation because it is God working in us to make us more like Him. It’s this gift that makes us tremble.

4. 3 Areas in Which Parents Must Persevere

Parents must persevere in quality time, in teaching and discipline, and in prayer. May it be so, Lord.

5. Behind the Scenes at the Smithsonian

Our family visited this museum earlier this year. This is a neat little video about what happens behind the scenes at the Natural History Museum.
