Wednesday Links

Here are a few links to some things you might have missed, or at least ones that caught my attention this past week:

1. Do Not Go Beyond What Is Written

We don’t often think about it, but one of the main reasons we have the New Testament is because of heresy and doctrinal error. That’s what many of these books represent – the true and orthodox response. It’s a good caution to us to not only know our Bibles, but to stay within its boundaries.

2. Should Christians Worry in These Times?

This helpful article from Ligon Duncan is a good reminder that this is not an isolated season in history. There have always been reason for Christians to worry, at least from a circumstantial point of view.

3. Ground Zero Bible

I know we’re past the 9/11 anniversary, but this is a very cool video and better story from Ground Zero.

4. “I Have a Peace About It”

I am finding more and more that certain spiritual sounding phrases that I’ve used for years are simply not good and helpful. Or even right. This is one.

5. Star Trek Turns 50

And one for the nerds. A cool video chronicling the 50 years of Star Trek.
