Wednesday Links

Here are a few links to some things you might have missed, or at least ones that caught my attention this past week:

1. Ten Pieces of Advice Paul Never Gave to Church Leaders

Helpful post here from Rob Tims that might not be pragmatic, but is certainly centered on the confidence that God’s Word in the gospel will do the good work He intends.

2. Five Awkward Conversations Every Teen Needs to Have with Their Parents

Man, I’m super excited for some of these… nevertheless, the point is well taken. Awkward silence on these issues is worse than awkward conversation.

3. Self-Promoting Wolves or Selfless Shepherds?

This is an important conversation to have. David Murray lists 4 characteristics of faithful leaders.

4. Dear Peyton…

This is a great video. And it makes me want to include the discipline of letter-writing into my life.

5. 5 Amazing LEGO Jobs Currently Open

My 11-year-old is starting to research how to get his passport and visa ready. Just in case they’re still open in a few years.
