Fridays Are For One Question

All.

Always.

Every.

All.

These are the words Paul uses in the first few verses of Philippians 1 when he thought of his friends back in Philippi. Every time he called any of them to mind, he always sprung into thankfulness.

It strikes me to realize that we’ve all got “Philippines.” People who have supported us no matter what. Those who believe in us and what we’re doing. The ones who have held us up at various points in our lives.

These are the people that no matter how far away from them you go, you do what Paul did: “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy…”

Feel like sharing a couple of the name of your Philippians today? That’s the question:

“Who are your ‘Philippians'”?

And I do the same when I think on them. I’m so grateful for them and tell them often. (And there are so many more–including my kids!!)

Doug and Leanne come to mind immediately for me, although if I get going, I would easily be here for a couple of hours! Great idea for a Friday question!
