Fridays Are For One Question

It happens every year.

I think to myself, “Hey! It’s Thanksgiving! I bet it would be fun to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!”

But it’s only fun for about 15 minutes. Then the kids wander away and I turn it off. I’m sure it’s awesome in person, but on TV, the floats and balloons are intermingled with interviews with B-list celebrities.

So you get a mixture of gigantic Shrek balloons and that guy who used to be on Saturday Night Live talking about something that no one will ever see.

So here’s my question for today:

“What would liven up the Thanksgiving Day Parade?”

Randomly dispersing paintball guns to the onlookers? Or even setting up one massive game of paintball. I mean doesn’t that sound like a great way to make sure that everyone has fun? I would definitely get involved with the help of the best paintball gun that I could find to help me become the paintball winner. This is definitely something worth considering for next year’s parade.

But what else can we do?

A dunking booth those b-list celebrities have to sit in?

What do you think?

Allow viewers to vote on their favorite float/act/balloon. (Vote by texting/calling at the appropriate time). The winning float/act/balloon gets a certain amount of money donated to their selected charity by Macy’s or some other sponsor.
