Fridays Are For One Question

For the last couple of years, I’ve set a reading goal for myself at New Year’s. Admittedly, I’m already a little behind, but there are a few books I’m looking forward to and planning to get into in the next several months. How about you? Today’s question:

“What’s one book you are excited about reading this year?”

**The goal of “One Question Friday” is simple: To show that everyone has something funny, engaging, creative, and worthwhile to say. So comment away! Be real. Be creative. Think hard. And check back to see how others answered the question.

this is going to be strange and a round-about way of answering . . . .but, one book I’m excited about reading is “At Home in Mitford.” The reason I’m excited is because Amy has said for the last few years that she wants me to read so many books when I finish school, and this year I will finish school! So, I’m excited about reading something other than the usual school stuff, and it happens to be a book about a quaint little town in North Carolina. 🙂

“Counterfeit Gods” by Timothy Keller. Loved “The Prodigal God.”

Lydia, by Catherine Marshall. She wrote Christy, which I loved, and was interested in reading her other novel. It’s older, though, so I didn’t know how I was going to get a copy. But I randomly found it at the Salvation Army store!

My wife just bought me The Dude Abides: The Gospel according to the Coen brothers. But that’s just, like, my opinion, man.
