Weekends Are For Kids

(Today’s post done by guest blogger, Joshua Kelley, who has elected to express his thoughts in story form)

“Once upon a time, there was a man that liked to go in caves. And then when he went into that cave, he always found precious jewels. Suddenly there was a dinosaur!

The man said, “What are you doing here?”

The dinosaur said, “Well… I want to eat you!”

Then he said, “Let’s have a challenge… fighting!” Then he tried to punch the dinosaur but he was too fast. Then he had an idea. He punched him really hard and he didn’t even know. Then he died.

The end.”

Wow, Joshua! That is an amazing story. I couldn’t believe the man ran into a dinosaur in that cave–and I was hoping he would win the fight. You tell stories as good as your daddy! Good job.

I’ll pass these comments onto Joshua. He’ll be thrilled his readership is growing.

Great story, Joshua. You and your dad make a great team.

Not to take the post off topic too much, but Joshua is alluding to a profound point about caves and animals that GK Chesterton makes in his book “The Everlasting Man.” Check out the chapter on primitive man. Enlightening. I could learn much from these 2 great teachers- that being Chesterton and Joshua.
